Martina Hingis Prepares for Warm-ups - Dec-05
Martina Hingis has
considered beginning her tennis comeback at the Australian Open warm-up tournaments in Hong Kong or the Gold Coast, Australia.

The Hong Kong exhibition and Gold Coast tournament are scheduled in January on the second and ninth. The first Grand Slam event of 2006 that Martina Hingis will be hoping to enter is during the period of the sixteenth to twenty-ninth of January. "That would be the goal at the moment, to be able to participate at that level," explained Hingis,
However, to play in any Grand Slams Martina Hingis will need a wild card as she has dropped out of the WTA rankings requiring invitations to play at the tennis championships.
