Andy fired home with his A-game, in an impressive 6-2, 6-2 win. Murray played with an improved serve firing five aces being broken only once. He managed to successfully covert six out of his eleven break points. Andy Murray believed that this was the best match he has played this year so far and is more to the level of tennis he was playing in a successful 2005 season. Murray commented on the match by stating, “That’s the best match I’ve played this year so far. I feel like I’m hitting well and I was moving well.” “I’ve been struggling with my serve but practised a lot in the last couple of weeks and was happy with it tonight.” “I was aggressive on the right balls and I was taking risks and I played a really solid match.
