Murray Playing for Scotland encountered his Davis cup rival Greg Rusedski in this two-day tournament. Murray discussed his thoughts before the start of the tournament by explaining; " I'm really looking forward to playing for Scotland . Playing for your country is always an honour. It will be difficult playing Greg as he is someone that, along with Tim Henman, I've supported for the last six or seven years. I've spent a bit of time with him at Davis Cup and we've practised together. Hopefully it will be a good experience and I can come through and win the points for Scotland .” Murray defeated British number one Tim Henman in the first round at the Basel Indoor Championships. Therefore, Andy Murray is progressing towards becoming the new face at the top of British tennis. “Beating Tim was a huge victory for me as he is someone I have looked up to since I was very young. I don't feel I have any pressure to beat Greg. I've had a few weeks off from competing, so I am looking forward to getting back out there.” explained Andy Murray.
